chipped pool tiles unaccommodating receptionist

the location required crossing a busy road to reach the beach and restaurant. some pool areas showed wear with chipped tiles. we had a bathtub and shower leak which led to a disruptive room change (it was a real pain) that consumed over three hours. the receptionist we spoke with at night offered no apology for this inconvenience, a letdown for sure.

warm greeting early check-in

the staff provided warm greetings upon arrival. charizze at the concierge assisted with an early check-in when i arrived ahead of schedule. i appreciated this service greatly.

the shampoo dispenser in my shower fell off the wall. the hotel charged me for the damage after i reported the broken lid, even though i had reported it.

the resort is situated close to the port. the hotel's location makes it easy to travel by tricycle. many restaurants are within close proximity, if you prefer dining out.

narrow pool noisy waterfall

The room i got was on a dull walkway. my balcony overlooked a noisy waterfall wall. there was also a narrow pool below where kids played. because the pool was narrow, the sound of the waterfall and the kids' screams echoed a lot even when i closed the balcony door. I could still hear it.

friendly welcome relaxed atmosphere

Check-in was easy. Jul provided a friendly welcome. The atmosphere felt relaxed. I found the experience to be very good from start to finish.

The gym requires a fee per visit.

missing toiletries absent slippers

The premier room beach wing was acceptable. Its proximity to the beach made access convenient.

I found several issues that detracted from my stay. Initially, the bathroom lacked essential toiletries. i had to request bath gel and a shower cap, an inconvenience i did not expect. moreover, the absence of provided hotel slippers was disappointing. Such a detail is standard in comparable hotels.
